Just wondering since:
Kris Bryant - Rookie of the Year
Joe Madden - Manager of the Year
Jake Arrieta - Cy Young Winner

Sure is lonely to be a Cubs fan - BUT, Just wait till next year!

May be Billonthefarm, got muzzled by Kim, like MikeWa. I had'nt saw any posts from Mike for quite a while, so I e mailed him, and found out he had got himself in trouble with Kim.

Well right now I happen to be sitting in the tractor watching the sun come up. Looks like today will be the calm before the storm. Feeding cattle tomorrow wont be this nice!

How bout those cubbies! Las Vegas has them as the favorite to win the 2016 world series. They sure were fun to watch this year.

You know what made my day yesterday? Seeing Allan is getting along. Hasnt been a day go past I didnt wonder how he was making out. Sure do wish him the best.

bill and wrigley!

Beings that I'm a Royals fan I had to sneak this in here....I and my son attended the KC Royals parade and the gathering after the parade at Union Station which is pictured..It was a sea of blue..It was the largest crowd to ever assemble in the history of the state of MO..It took me 2 hours to get out of downtown KC when 15 minutes will normally do it..

With that being said I hope that the Cubs win it all next year..They deserve it..I was a huge Ernie Banks fan and was sorry to hear that he recently passed away..Lets Play Two...

As is known Im a life long cubs fan. Die hard till the end, win or lose its cubbie blue. I saw Ernie Banks on tv hundreds of times. He seemed to good to be true. I never got to meet Mr Cub but at a autograph session he was at i grabbed chair about 10 feet from him and I just sat, watched and listened. I was in awe. He enjoyed talking about his career but he LOVED talking with kids and hearing their stories and give little bits of advice while smiling and laughing out loud. He would pose for pics with them and ask all about their experiences. He was truely what he appeared to be. He was a true gentleman and a great spokesman for his team.

I'm with ya. Been a Cubbie fan forever. It tickled me to see them take the dreaded Cardinals out this year. Time for the famous Cubs quote..."Maybe next year."

Great year for the Cubs. Big expectations for 2016. Years ago I was standing in the ticket line at Wrigley early one morning and heard a familiar voice behind me. It was Ernie, thanking fans for coming to the ballpark. He shook everyone's hand and chatted for a bit. He was always a great ambassador for the Cubs and baseball in general.
