Heard this on another forum Allan in NE house burned

As the head line say I read this on another Forum that Allan in NE as he goes by here had a house fire some time in the last day or so and lost every thing in his house. I know nothing more then this so if any of you know him better you might fill in the blanks

Very sad news. Lucky they are all safe. I hope Allan can keep his chin up and get another one set in as soon as is possible. I'm sure he is devastated, but definitely lucky they were up and around. Hope the best for him and his wife. Bob

Dang,that's rough. That's one of my biggest fears in life. I guess it goes back to when the barn burned when I was 9.

That's bad news... Hoping we'll hear something from him soon.

Does anyone know how to set up a "Go Fund Me"? Or any way to get them some help?

That's terrible. Also serves as a reminder for us all to have smoke detectors installed and tested regularly.

Never met him other than on here but really seemed to be a great guy, It is not the big stuff it is all the little memories one looses makes a fire awfull. My thoughts and prayers go out to Allen..

Not a good run of luck. I count three, the big tractor's final drive, the Hydro's axle and then the trans, and now the house. Better luck in the future is needed. We rejoice in their safety, and morn the loss. May recovery be swift and as complete as possible. When he can find time to give us a contact, we should do what we can. Jim

He probably wasn't even able to save his guitars or amps. I hope he has a good insurance company. My neighbor's home burnt to the ground about 4 years ago. His insurance really came through, and what with him working for a home builder, he was able to rebuild it himself and came out of it without a mortgage that they previously had on it.
We're all thinking of you Allan.

Wow. I hope they are ok. This is my biggest fear and it takes no time to destroy a lifetime of work.

The Butte fire here in California was stopped 4 miles from my home. 5 of my freinds lost their homes and everything they couldn't take with them. The place where I used to work is gone.
I dont know this guy, but if one of you can lend him an RV or a 5th wheel to stay in through winter it will help him a lot. He will need it to be stocked with everything from eating utensils to cleaning supplies.
We have had suicides too, contact with him could lift his spirits.
