john deere 520 oil in water

A connection between an oil passage and a water passage, such as a leaking head gasket or other location where water is near oil, like an oil cooler. The oil is usually under more pressure than the water, so that's the way it goes.

Most likely it is a pin hole in the oil cooler. Not a big problem and not one that would cause the engine to be harmed. If it was a head gasket you would have other symptoms such as bubbles in the radiator coolant or a miss in the engine.

Ok Charlie and 2under enlighten me if you're just shooting in the dark or if you know for a fact that a JD 520 which is a 2 cyl actually has an oil cooler?? As my posting name suggest I used a lot of red but very little green.

Are you and 2underage joking or just randomly yapping off as if you know something?
Have you ever seen a 520 two cylinder ?
