Half done with the hay hauling. Second half is harder as it's 10 miles per load.

Need bigger truck . We can get 21 bales on per load on the goose neck and 11 on the bale wagon . And a skid Steer at each end . We do hay at to different farms that are each ten to 13 miles from the main farm.

The worst part about making hay is moving those darn bales. If I can get a helper, and borrow a bobcat, I can really move alot of hay in a day. All by myself, it is a total drag. Have fun!

Just guessing, but I would bet there is no winter protection or water where the hay is. Plus, its a whole bunch easier to drive a tractor 10 miles each way when the weather is decent versus in 3 feet of snow.

Looks good. You got a bunch this year if that is half of it. Cows and deer will be eating good this winter. As I recall you have a head or two of deer that hang out with the cows during the winter months.

A friend ask me if I would haul his hay home. Told him 5 dollars a bale, 21 bales to a load. It was 20 miles one way. He turned me down. He is hauling with pickup and trailer.
