There used to be a young guy from Denton, NE who had been buying a lot of older equipment and older trucks that posted here frequently. I think his name was
Andrew. I always looked forward to the pictures he would post from his latest find. He was even building a big building to store some of his treasures. I don't
believe he has posted for quite a while. I saw this Craigslist ad from Lincoln and immediately thought of him.
Old Truck Box

Yes, He was buying and buying and buying, Then he put up a big building, but I bet that it didn't hold 1/4 of what he had. He must have decided that he needed to work on some of the stuff and hasn't come back out of the building.

I wonder if that's the original engine. I thought they didn't come out with an overhead valve engine until 1954. I had a buddy who had a '53 F-350 and it had the old reliable? 106 HP flathead engine.

Maybe I have CRS, but that's what I remember.

Stan

Stan - Florida I think you're correct.
if you look in pic 2 & 4 I think you'll see a flat head there.
that last pic being the finnished truck motor 352? or a m block would be my guess.

(quoted from post at 14:24:43 10/06/15) my brother has a truck like that, it looks like a Y block 292,312
water crossover on front of heads.

I had a '56 F100 with 3.92 rear-end and a 312 'Police Interceptor' out of a '57 Fairlane - it would 'get around' pretty good 8)
