What is this tractor worth?

Pretty good looking tractor not far from me, don't need it, not a Deere man really, just curious what you fellers think it is worth.

I know what they want for it and will let you know later.

Thanks for any input.

A coat of paint doubles the price doesn't it? They're probably asking $3000 but I don't think they'll get half that.

How do I do that? I don't know your email address and see no option here to do that, and on top of that, why?

If it's a good tractor and tires, it'd probably be about 2500 here (wny)

always a tough question,
if I was buying, 1500 is where I want to be for that one.
If I was selling, I'd have to hear about 2500 to get my interest.
naw, scratch that...not for sale...it's only money and then I'd have to go find another one.......

Ain't it great? The price varies widely depending upon where you are.

I'm in Southern New Brunswick Canada and $2500 is a good price for this tractor which is exactly what they are asking.

I expect 1800 to 2000 bucks would take it home.

8N Fords and TO 20 Fergies are going for 1500 to 3000 bucks.

Nice heavy square axle "B" with correct rear wheels. Hood looks dented pretty good , looks like hood cut out for muffler change at some time , looks like alternator / 12v conversion ( who knows whether done right) no fenders. Without the listed negatives, $ 2800 , just as is with the negatives , $ 1800 - $ 2100. Central Mi.

Tractor market here in Iowa is mighty soft. Even the green ones. My cousin sold his VAC Case with a Woods belly mower on a consignment auction a week ago for #800. Good runner and was mowing with it all summer.

Can't edit now, what's up with that?

Previous post should say "A [b:9dc1b56d35]GOOD[/b:9dc1b56d35] 8N or TO 20"

here is NW Pa. I don't think you could get anything over 1500.00
It isn't bad for it's age, but it's far from perfect too. I've owned
one just like it & was a great tractor, I tried for years to get 1800.00
with like new 13.6 38 on the back, correct charging system & no dents.
I finally settled for 1500.00 w/o the 801 3ph.

I am with Larry here in Tennessee would be hard to get anything more than $1200 and probably can find some around for less.

Saw one almost identical and in identical condition sell for $1800 on a retirement auction last spring.

No offence meant Randy, but on your negative(no Fenders). You would have had a HARD time finding maybe one in a thousand (or more)JD or Farmalls RCs with fenders in that time period.Up until 1958 with JD 30 series.

Here in Michigan it was the law. Even my "thrifty" Grandpa had to have fenders on his brand new 1939 "B" JD. So around here it is a "neg" to have no fenders. no offense taken.

I don't know about any law for fenders. I do know most of them didn't have fenders as they were in the way for the cultivator brackets that did the lifting and depth control on the IHC's Our H has not had fenders as far back as I can remember. We took them off on our MD so we could get on it. The fenders were to close. As for the B I think the 12-1700 range would get it in the real world. I would give 50.00 for it. To light in the front end and the clutch is backwards. Who would want to reach for the radiator while trying to see the drawbar. Always thought that was stupid.
