I was out in one of my deer plots yesterday looking at how heavily they are being browsed by the deer.
I seeded it with a mix of clovers and turnip.
There are a lot of these turnips in there.
So I picked a few and am going to add a couple of them to the stew I'm making for dinner.
If they are good I think I will pick a bag full and wax them to preserve them for winter.

They are good but different.. They surenuff complement the salad I am not sure about anything else...

Mom boils them and adds a little sugar... I add them as a side dish to the salad yum yum are mix them to the salad...

I like them raw 8)

No one likes turnip,mustard, kale as much as I do... The problem is they stop me up :x

Its been raining here for 3 days soon as i can I will check out my turnips I planted them the 1st of sept.... FOR ME not a damm deer....
 
We eat turnips out of are deer food plot I can't see that they are any different than garden turnips. Randy
