E-Z Trail Grain Carts

I only have J&M grain carts and have never used anything else but I have a chance to buy a new E-Z Trail at a very good price. I think I can live with the side auger and the non-hydraulically adjustable spout. Anything else about them you guys might like or dislike?

I've had a couple of their wagons and had good luck with them. However, I recently saw a load of the carts on a truck at a truck stop and when looking them over thought the welds were very poor. So poor that I took pics of them and posted on a welding site I go to. I suggest that before you buy you look it over closely, especially the welding. Here are a couple that I took pics of.

Thank you very much, Jon. I'll be looking at that very thing tomorrow. Might just buy another J&M.

pitiful ,,.mite as well had used a tube of silicone,.,. my 1190 ihc mower conditioner has skip welds like that all over it , and they have failed too ..

In this case the skip welds are ok for where they are, but there are many like the top one in the last pic that are terrible. I hope those were some that just missed the inspection.

are these the ones that you cant shut the auger off full or it will shear a pin when you turn it back on? not worth having
