My father in law passed away and he was a farmer for years. We was going through his things and we found this Tony Lama belt buckle it opens up like a to keep money in. It weighs 5.6 ounces measures 2 1/4 by 3 1/2 . It is also stamped on the back UK. I can not find it any where on line. I think it might be real silver. He farmed with lots of different tractors over the years. He will be missed. But we are finding all kinds of things he had stashed away.

If it is silver there should be a makers mark and proof mark stamped into it. If either is not there it is most likely made out of nickel. Some items that are made of nickel will be marked as nickel silver, or German silver, which is misleading, because there is no silver involved.
