HEY Jon they need a replacement driver!!!! LOL!

I wouldn't risk my life for a couple of trees, especially when there's plenty of them at the bottom of the mountain. :p

Hi
You couldn't get me to do that for piece work at a million bucks a load. Must be some real special, expensive wood for all that danger and messing around!.

I can just see them changing an inside tire on the drop side of that mountain.

No amount of money........

I tried to capture this road in a picture but you can't really tell how it is. That's the same road below after the hairpin turn. It's so steep once I stopped and tried to back up with my pickup and just spun the rear tires on dry pavement. Yup we hauled logs down it from the farm in the other picture. Nothing like the video though.

Now there is a guy who is in position to tell his bosses anything he wants to and they are going to say, "Yes, Sir!".

Seems like a lot of trouble to go through for a load of firewood. There isn't a log on that load worth risking your life for. I do see that the rear wheels on the trailer are steerable though. I wonder how many trucks and drivers they lost before they figured that out?

I rented a farm with a bad driveway, a couple spots just like that! One of the farms that I rent now is a little better. Will get pics on here some time!

I delivered brewer's grain to a dairy farm in southwest MO.. Road was simalar to the video. Directions to the farm were at the bottom of the hill, put the truck in the lowest gear and leave it there before going up the hill.

Feel like kind of a sissy now, I get pretty white knuckled the last couple of miles up and back down Pikes Peak.
