Read on here a while back about using
epsom salt on pepper plants so I tried
it. It is amazing what that does. Also
using it on my tomatoes to cure blossom
end rot. Worked there as well.

Yup, sure got load of bigger and better peppers from using Epsom salts this year. 'maters...not so well but due to other problems. Too cold and wet then weeds took over.

But the Epsom salts sure made a difference.

Good to hear it worked for you too.

I add a half cup to a gallon of water and just water with that mix once per week. You can also mix it in the soil before planting. I grow my vegetables in containers so mixing it works well for me. Next year I will add it in my soil mix as well.

Shop around a bit and look at the bags or boxes it comes in and some will tell you right on them how to use Epsom salts in the garden. My dad would put a table spoon or 2 in the hole then plant the tomato plant above it. Or you can water plants with a mix of 4 table spoons to a gal. of water. But as I said read the label to get more info if you can find a good brand of it

You'd be better off using a product like Planters II or Sea 90 both have the minerals that epsom salt does and a whole lot more minerals.Plus 50 lbs of each is less than $20.

My MIL always put a handful of Epson Salt in the hole before planting her tomatoes. It keeps the tomatoes from splitting also.
