Crops in general inour area are great. My beans are not the greatest and I don't really know why. Jeff's corn is the best in many years, his hay was about average.

My beans are the best I have ever had. I've got 700 acres and they have to do well or I am in serious trouble. Only one truckload of wheat was not a total loss. That's only because it was ready early and the elevator didn't know to test it for toxin. The test weight wasn't whippy, but at least it did something. One landlord ended up with a check for $12 from their wheat. I know it was all bad for everyone here, but I was embarrassed to death. I am hoping that the landlords are proud of the beans they see. I sure am. This is the first year I micromanaged each field and tailored the in furrow mix to the field. I'm anxious to start cutting. They are just starting to set pods here.
