I had to hit this one with one of my work boots about 10 days ago...

His name is Big Jack. Was born RIGHT in front of our house, and has lived here for all his years!! MUST be about 8 or 9 by now...

He is the one that trys to come ON OUR FRONT DECK to get to moms flowers..... Real PITA some times, but we all love him!!! ;)

P.S. Note in one of the pictures he is eating a PURPLE tree. That is a Chinese Purple Maple... However, to him, it is known as "desert".... :) He nibbles on EVERYTHING in the general vicinity of the house, then hits his favorite tree, then disappears..
 
Be Careful messing with moose ! An Alaskan show last night said Moose kill more people than Bears and other animals combined ! They can charge at up to 35MPH too.
 
Ohhhhh I know!!! They are a MAJOR force to recon with....

About the only other thing I am more afraid of up here are cats, and not the fun ones, that live in the barn...

With the wildfires around here the moose and elk are starting to move....be careful out there, an animal this size can be deadly when crossing a road.
