80 snowblower

I have a model IH 80 snow blower it looks like it was bought wiyh just one lower auger and top auger was never on thiis blower was wonder if it would work very well this way or if anyone had the top auger ffor sale thanks John

Should work ok. I run the smaller IH 70 and it only has one auger.

I've seen some 80's here that only had one auger as well.

People on snowblower forums say that sometimes the single stage throwers will work better than two stage in certain snow conditions. IIRC heavy, wet snow can clog up the second stage (the top auger).
