Took this pic a few minutes ago, 9:00 AM Central. The radar shows a fair amount of rain for a short duration behind these clouds. Looking out the window the clouds have a very interesting swirly pattern and it's very dark, the yard lights are turning on. I'll let you know what happened after it's over.

We are into three days of cold weather with spotty showers in a week where it was predicted to be cool and dry all week. LOTS of folks with hay on the ground from the day before it started. I declined to take my second cutting. It is not very tall from all the heat/dry and the market is poor. Feel sorry for all the folks who bought into the forecast.
 
Usually a cigar cloud like that means a big blow and then it's over. This one brought no wind and .40" rain.
 
We got a pretty good light show and noise but only a tenth and no wind south of you. Sun is out now. We need to stay dry the rest of the fall.
