Truck Gets Bent

whats with the chain being hooked up high and all the concrete..... going to the hometown county fair next sunday, they have been known to start at 9 am and still pulling at 9pm.. amazing at least 1 or 2 trucks leave parts on the track every year.

TimS, I know that comment was probably in jest, and you think you are witty, but how stupid is that? Like either of those trucks or their usage has anything to do with reality.

Oh, yes,, and I'm wondering if it wasn't 'staged', how could the rear end walk forward that far with out buckling the drive shaft? It appeared to still be pulling as it came together..

And a Chevy or ford is a shipping crate for a Briggs and Stratton they call an engine. Here's a tie rod from a 3/4 chebby my lawn mower has stronger front end parts

As far as I can tell, the suspension links coming from the rear axle attach to the frame approximately where the driveshaft attaches to the transmission/transfer case. The frame bent right where that suspension link attaches, so that it pretty much pivoted around the front u-joint in the driveshaft, saving the driveshaft.

The ,6.5 isn't a bad rig I love it for what I bought it for to haul tools and sometimes pull a trailer from here to there just can't believe how lite its built

(quoted from post at 12:02:35 08/03/15) All for the crowd....STAGED!!!

Correct!
Look at all the weight in the bed and where they hooked.
No brainer what's going to happen.
