This is a Friday made in Michigan until about 1958, its named after the builder. I always get some kind of remark when I show it regarding the name, spose I will get some more now!

Won't get too many remarks from me. I live in Michigan. The Friday and the Love were always known here.

The Friday family is still building equipment in Hartford, MI, mostly cherry tree shakers and other harvest tools as far as I know. I remember the tractors being assembled from sub assemblies of other manufacturers- i.e. chrysler engines, ford rear ends, etc. A friend has a Friday shaker and a tractor, but I have never operated either for him.

They will go at least 60 mph but not with me driving it. I have had it to 40 but the road was rough and I lost my courage. If I was serious about seeing how fast it would go, I would want to put new turf tires on the back that were balanced and have a very smooth surface to run on. I think my tires came with the tractor cause they have the dog bone lugs. Thanks for your interest.
