Cracked Carb bowl

I have a carb bottom for a jd and there is a 1/2 crack starting at the strain plug and going away from the drain plug. It leaks wether there is gas in it. What's the best way to fix? Jb weld, fibs some one to brace it up or ?????

You didn't say whether it's a single throat or double throat. Single induction is a cast bowl and I would either replace it or "V" it out inside and outside and braze it with brass. If two throat,it is sheet metal stamped out bowl, just braze or mig weld it.

Yes it is cast. I guess I will get it brazed since I don't have the skills.
