OT - WP300 Orchard Grass

Read a post on another forum that got my attention regarding WP300 Orchard Grass. Never heard of it prior it that.

Sounds like a warmer weather grass with, according to the author of the post, retains color well.

Anyone have any experience with WP300 Orchard Grass for hay?

Orchard Grass is a good grass to have as a mixture but as a stand along grass it can be hit and miss. You have a pretty narrow window to harvest it at its premium quality. As for this variety??? I have not seen that one used around ere.

Orchard grass will smother out weeds better than brome grass. I use it in road ditches but it cuts tough.
