Versatile 875

Just received a versatile 875 today, but do
not have the book for it yet. Can anyone
tell me what type of hydraulic and
transmission fluid it uses and where do you
fill each one from, thank you

Transmission and hydraulics are separate and any decent HyTran/HyGard/UTF will be just fine for either.

IIRC, tranny fill location may vary by SN, but the bottom line is that you check tranny oil level by removing a square-headed pipe plug from the back of the tranny, to the left of where the rear driveshaft exits. Fill port is either under a cover in the floor of the cab to the left of the seat, or just behind the cab on the LH side. You can trace the hose from the fill port down to the tranny to be sure it's the right one.

Hydraulic tank is under the LH side of the cab floor, and there's a dipstick cleverly hidden under the fill cap. (Tranny and hydraulic fill ports may be under the same cover on the operator's platform.)

Don't forget to check all four planetaries and the front and rear axle "pumpkins" as well. They use heavy gear oil, 140-weight, IIRC, but we'd better verify that. ANYHOW, NO UTF there.
