Hi, I have some problem with my power steering so I wanted to check the power steering oil level but there is only onle line on the gauge. Is this the minimum or maximum?

With only one line, I would assume that is the warm level.

What kind of problem are you having?

If the oil is low, the pump will be howling, the oil will be frothy with air.

what I meant is the gage to know if there is enough oil in the tank. The problem that I have is when I turn sometimes its become harder.

Trying to post a link here, if it doesn't work, go to the Oliver forum and search for Oliver 1365 Steering. Your 1370 should be exactly the same.

It could be out of adjustment too. Click this link to go to a post on the Oliver forum where Mitch and I had this discussion. There are a ton of helpful pictures.

I should have mentioned, your 1370 needs to be a 4x4 for this discussion to be applicable. The 2wd models have a different steering assist cylinder.

I don't know if it is low that is what I'm saying, There is only one level line on my gauge and I don't know if it's the minimum or the maximum line.

Mine has to go right off the dipstick before the steering acts up. I just fill it slightly over the line. I don't know if there's really such a thing as overfilling them. That tank is sealed once you screw the dipstick back in.
