I need a bull

Do any of you guys in Michigan have a registered Angus or maybe a Sim bull that you're done with,or know somebody who does?
Mine got hurt. The vet's on her way,but I don't think the diagnosis is going to be good. I need something I can turn back out ASAP.
My email should work on Classic.

Found one. A shirt tail cousin had stopped about six weeks ago wanting to know if I knew anybody who needed one. He was just here, said he still has it. Said to come and get it. The vet should be here any minute to let me know if this one can be saved.

Pretty good chance he'll be for sale. He had a wart when he was checked over the winter, but had it removed. He jumped a cow this morning and it didn't come out of the sheath. When he came down to the ground he was dripping blood real bad. The vet forgot the power pack for the electro stimulator,so he had to run back to the clinic to get it. We don't know if he broke it or if he has another wart. Either way,I don't need any open cows.

Ouch. I wouldn't wish that on a broke... Good luck with the new bull. Seems every breeder has a bad news story about a bull. How many cows do you have?

There's about 80 cows and heifers out there with two bulls. The vet said it's inconclusive. Even with the stimulator it wouldn't come out. He said with a bull that age there shouldn't have been any problem at all. He felt along it and said he really didn't think it was broke. He ran a finger in as far as he could and said he didn't feel a wart either, but there was some infection. He said either way,he wasn't going to go back to work as soon as I wanted him to no matter what we did with him. So,he's in the feedlot and the new bull is with the cows. The new one came through the tested bull sale last year and is from a breeder that we've bought from through the sale a couple of times before,so everything should be back to normal. At least we found out now and not late fall or worse yet, next spring when the calves stopped coming.

the bull we were using tore his scrotum last winter when i dicovered it his testicles were hanging out.
i called local vet who said he will never bred cows again. the next day he was hamburger.
worst part of it he was on loan to us from a good friend.

No. We feed out all of our calves,so we take a good fat steer or heifer every year. The used up service bulls go to the sale barn.
