With the recent relaxing of trade embargo, lots of new and used parts will likly be heading to Cuba.

I'm thinking that some of their 'daily drivers' are on some 'most wanted' lists over here for car collectors.

as they show on the program, those cars are so modified underneath they aren't anywhere near original. most have diesel engines from Russian vehicles and mismatched
drive trains. they definitely are not barn finds.

Yes, I noticed they are far from the original.

Apparently none of the cars have the factory gas tank, rotted away years ago. They use plastic containers of gas, stored in the trunk or back floor, with a hose from the fuel pump stuck in the top. LOL

One underhood shot showed the frame had been patched and gorilla globed with layer upon layer of steel where the upper A frame attached. Sixty years or salt water takes it's toll!

They are good with Bondo and rattle cans though!

I almost want to see it is my favorite show. They have nothing yet everyone seems happy and they get by.Like the dad said ; there is no auto parts store. Castro din't do those people any favors.
