It is very dry in my immediate area of southern NH. We get many rain systems coming across from NY and up from New Jersey, but most lose a good portion of their moisture as they rise to come over the higher ground that runs North-South in the center of the state. When you look at the radar you can see the green masses fall apart as they come across. What little makes it across, almost all will go either north or south of us. We have had no significant precipitation since mid January. All the streams are drying up, the ground is dry and grass burning in many areas. I am very glad for a good deep well and no animals anymore.

Im in North Carolina , and we have some counties in severe drought and i live in one of those
counties. Its been awefull this year everything has dried up.

All the rain in June has left the crops shallow rooted and though we are not in a drought we need a soaker every several days now to hope to have a crop.

If there was a way to ship it over I'd Be very glad to send some of ours!
Rain set for every third day here in eastern NE. really hard to get Hay put up.

NE Missouri and central IL, we are 11inches over normal for the months on June and July. It has rained all spring and never stopped. The last I heard. there was 43% of the bean crop is still in the bag.(including mine)

It is terrible dry up here as well.
And a trillion grasshoppers .
I had only 3/4 of a round of hay per acre...last year i had 4.
I sold half the herd already for lack of grass.(got to feed the hoppers you know)
Hay in my province is selling for 150-200 $ a round in the field,..i'am short +/- 500 rounds.
Apparently i still had a bumper crop,..a neighbor had 60 bales from 300 acre. Another one had 6 bales from 40 acres.
