Hi guys. I borrowed a 1997 case 7220 to finish up hay this season. problem is that the hydralic coupler does not seem to hook up. I was using a pioneer 8010-4 and tried switching to a 8010-15.(1/2 inch poppet to a 3/4) neither one seems to work. Does this case use something different? can't find anything online. Pressure has been released on both sides. thanks for the help!

Is the tractor made with an ISO coupler? Looks very similar to a Pioneer, but longer on the front end.

There is something wrong with the FEAMLE coupler on the tractor. Your tips should work fine. My Brother had a CIH 7220 and he uses my stuff all of the time with zero problem. I use the 8010-4 on just about all of my hoses.

Did you try the hydr lever in the float position? Unless something is wrong in the female part like JD said it should work. On both of our magnums you have to put the lever in float or it will not accept the end. Have to do the same thing to relieve the pressure to disconnect and they have always been this way.

The coupler needs rebuilding/replacing. These push pull couplers cause lots of problems either leaking or simply not connecting. The ones Deere uses on their tractors are especially problematic. One tip, make sure you clean them out well before coupling hoses as they do not like dirt very well.
