If at first you do not succeed, try a couple more times and then give up because you do not really need to put a square part in a round hole.

I keep a rounded-off drain plug hung up in my barn, with a nut welded on it to remind me.... it got rounded off, but it HAD to come out. Butit would not. I welded and welded, and broke off the nut, and it WOULD NOT COME OUT. [ I am not a welder. ]
But it HAD to come out. Welded.... broke, busted knuckles, welded... for two days,, finally it welded good, and came out, in a gush of oil, water, dirt... I learned to NEVER give up.
