Here is a neat AC 1940s movie/video

I love watching these old movies that advertised the products actually working. Then you add in the WWII time frame and the back shots of that and you have something that really holds my attention. There are 7 of these AC short videos/movies. I will line you to the first one and you can follow the rest.

Thanks JD Seller, I have this one on the old VHS tape. I have about 5 tapes all together and one of them is on early Gleaner combines being made in the factory..

Really neat, but don"t believe it when they say you can mount the cultivator on a WC in minutes, with no wrenches! BTDT too many times NOT. A hoist could hold the cultivator in position, allowing the two pins to be set in the brackets, but it was necessary to slide the row units on the front frame to clear the front wheels, then reset to get them under the tractor. Who had a hoist?

I don"t have any fond memories of that machine, but it did build muscle! Anybody know that on the early mechanical lift, a ratchet wheel with handle was incorporated so you could lift the cultivator without the tractor moving, like when tripped in a shed. That was before the traction release lever was dreamed up.

I liked the narrator in the first one, remember when all the films were kind of like that, he did a great job, it was enjoyable to listen to him on the maintenance part of it with the small side comments, most of it is still true today !

Bet you kept your thumbs outside of the steering wheel on that WC, too, didn't you?
If you didn't, you only did once, right?

There was a post with pictures on here recently(I tried to find it and couldn't)where someone was trying to identify a two bottom trailer plow. The one shown briefly in this video looks like it. Maybe it was an AC after all.
