Steel bushings?

I need steel bushings.
1.25 ID x 1.5 OD x 3 inches long. I could use shorter ones.
Can anyone tell me where I can buy them at a reasonable price?

I found a steel bushing 1 ID x 1.25 OD x 2 15/16 on ebay for a fraction of the price the factory wants for them.

thanks in advance.

That was an option I considered. I have lathe and adjustable reamers to make about anything.

Tomorrow I will have to go out into the shop at work and see what we have. I see a listing of some BUSHING-1.5 X 1.25 X 3
We use a lot of different sizes here. Our parts descriptions are not very informative.

Mike, I could also use a 1 inch ID 1.25 OD x 3 inches. I can buy one that size off ebay for $9, shipping included, but it's not a split bushing. Guessing it not a hardened bushing.

Let me know what they cost. Many thanks.

The dealer wants over $30 each plus shipping. I think that's crazy.

They want $55 for a 1 inch x 8 inch pin. I can buy one that size from TSC for $10. The pins on it now look like mild steel. Hitch pins are grade 5.

Let me know what they cost. Many thanks.

I haven't tried Vogelsang yet, but the advertise that they keep a variety of bushings in stock.

I've used bushings from Connex quite a few times. They are both pretty much the same thing, so I'd say either would work just find. The only problem with Connex is they keep very few, if any sizes in stock. Occasionally you'll get lucky, but usually they are made to order. To get around that, places like McMaster Carr, and MSC keep, or used to, a variety of the smaller sizes in stock for fast shipment.

NCWayne,
Thanks, I'll give them a call. I'll make the bushing before I pay over $100 for 3 bushings.
