WAT OT: A14 datsun tractor compatibility

I have several A14 datsun engines that are laying around. Has anyone ever transplanted something like this is a cultivating tractor? I know it
wouldn't be simple but I'd like to learn off others. information, not opinions.

I have installed Nissan and Datsun engines in different vehicles than original several times. There are three things that are important. Using the engine plate from the engine, or the pattern made from the bell housing, to create a solid rear mount with concentricity to the pilot bearing axis less than .001" off. second they need the side mounts to support them. Solid is OK, and superior to rubber, unless the rear is also rubber mounted. Car/truck engines run at 4000 RPM, tractor engines at 1/2 that. Using a intermediate gear box to allow higher engine speeds will let them perform well. Governors are a must, several options are available, I like electronic systems with mechanical carb drive. Don't over stress the finals, 120% more power is OK, letting it have only normal single tire traction and weight as per design will keep things happy. Good luck, Jim
