sweet corn sheller

That's what I use. Love it. Use 3/8" lag bolt and cut the head off and use in drill. I got my cutter off amazon for $9.

Those things work well ONLY if you have nice, well filled, uniform sized ears of corn. Wife and I just finished working up a bushel of sweet corn. Ended up with 10 1/2 pints in the freezer. From shucking the ears to cleaning up after, took about 1 hour, and we did it the old fashioned way. Cut the corn off the cob with a knife.

looks like its just a hand held cutter, and a lag bolt in the drill. i've seen those corn cutters at the store.
