Big Mac crossing

Me the wife and Fred (8n) would like to make this years crossing of the big mackinac bridge in michigan. Has anyone done this? Is there a shuttle back to the other side of the bridge to get truck-trailer after we cross? Plan on staying In St ignaca. iknow they stage the tractors on the south side on thursday and ride the brige on friday (about 5 1/2 hrs? )stoping in st ignace. Thanks Dale

Be advised that you must be a member of a tractor club and they will be the ones collecting fees and making sure your tractors comply. They can also answer all your questions about shuttle etc. Have fun.

Dale,thats 1 hour south of me , and about 800 tractots cross the bridge . You should contact Owasso Tractor Parts , they host the event .

If you go to Owossotractorparts.com Then click on the link on the left side it shows the rules as well as the requirements for a buddy seat. The buddy seat is supposed to be approved by Bob. Some of them I have seen in the past looked awful sketchy to me. The seats that is.

I did the first one, and several since. I plan on this year too. As others have said, contact Owosso Tractor Parts, Bob Baumgras, for details. The shuttle is changed for this year, so get that info too. It is a blast, a real thrill to drive over.
