Just a reminder that the Riverbend Steam & Gas show is July 16, 17, 18 in Allendale MI

Have you ever been to that one in Big Rapids? It's coming up the 24th and 25th,featuing Oliver. Just wondered if it was worth the trip?
 

Never been to that one. Went to Midland and was disappointed.

I may try Blanchard this year. We always do Oakley, Gilmore, Clarksville & mason also.
 
I would imagine RayP and I will be at Blanchard. Maybe Royse,JWondergem,JD John and Mike Henry,don't know. Hoped to have the Oliver 500 done in time for that show this year,but I still haven't heard anything from the guy at the body shop.
 
Haven't been to a show in years. May try and get to Mason this year. It is only 4 or 5 miles north of me. I used to take tractors there every year but got tired of the animosity between the steam guys and the tractor guys.

I have went to Blanchard a couple times since Kemler told me about it.

Blanchard often conflicts with Clarksville where I help a fellow with a steamer and a shingle mill.

This year Oakley conflicts with Clarksville????

Oakley & Buckley are also a week apart this year

Seems to be conflict between groups at every event.

I only take stuff to Allendale & Clarksville and everyone seems to get along.
 
I did the Big Rapids show years ago an I liked it. I also have been to Allendale. Both are nice smaller shows kind of like Clarksville where I met Kevin. Here are a few pics from Riverbend including one of my favorites, Grandpa and Granddaughter. Also they had a shingle mill.

John,

We run the mill at Allendale with same steamer as Clarksville so if you get to our show I will be in the sawmill area.
