Not the kind you ride in.

They really hit the juice on a rainy day.

Maybe they were nestmates, so they don't fight at the feeder? I don't know how they know such things, but they seem to somehow.

For years we only had 2 pairs and a small feeder 250 ml. This year is a mega bumper crop. There are at least 16 and had to get rid of the small feeder (empty in 2 days) and now have 2- 1.5 l units. Have gone through 12 kg. of sugar so far. They are very cool. We have lots of hb favored flowers, but the little suckers are draining my pocket book !

Good one Greg! We have woodpeckers who raid the hummingbird feeders, but I see now that it's a minor problem, HA.

We get quite a few around our place but never see them feeding together. There is one that wants to keep the feeder all to himself. He runs off any that want to feed at HIS feeder, he even stays in a close tree and guards the feeder.
