Can't find anything on a Ford 10000. It may have been an experimental tractor that was never put into production or its a tractor that some one did a conversion and put a it.

Supposed to be a 1970 test, after studying it they found the flaws of v8 power in a farm tractor and came to their senses and stuck with what they had, tuned up some.....

It was a Cat powered concept that Ford evaluated to see if the power range could be extended beyond that of the 9000 model. In the end they decided to intercool the 9000's 401 engine which was a sound decision rather than installing that Cat rattle trap in a tractor. The end result of the intercooling project was the TW30.

Stuart Gibbard in England wrote the definitive books on the history of Fordson & Ford tractors having been given full access to the Ford tractor archives from Ford England.

This tractor was an engineering exercise using a CAT V8 engine to test putting extra HP through the transmission on the 8000 & 9000 tractors
