Those are just the little ones. Saw some at Gillette, WY 13' tall and $38,000 each! Don;t know how they would haul them, 5' over width or ?? over height.

When step-father's work ordered him a new payloader, 2 of 3 trailers got parked in (I believe) Georgia do to being over weight and over sized. Only the bucket was allowed to go thru the state.
Trucking company failed to get over sized permits.

Big but not very heavy. Not enough road wheels to be substantive. When I was a Kid, I built this type trailer for Obrecht Trailer Manufacturing Inc. Knox Indiana. 1969. This is not one of mine, but it is what is called a Michigan train. 125,000 GVW with permits, interstate only. Jim

For another perspective check out "road trains in Australia". One example is the Australia part of

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_train#Australia

A triple has 16 axles counting the truck.

Truck front and tandems. Trailer 3 axle. Dolly 2 axle. Trailer 3 axle. Dolly 2 axle. Trailer 3 axle.

We see these with freight and double deck cattle or 4 deck sheep livestock trailers.

But there would have to be serious advances in brake technology before you'd want to be around one of these coming down something like I70 as where they run is pretty flat.

I don't have it but there was a massive trailer used in shifting a rail truck unloader in west Aus too
