Well, we did our best and we came within probably 7 loads of getting it all baled, but truth be told if we would have baled it all there'd be no room for second or third crop. As it is it's gonna be a squeeze for much more. Final tally is around 3600 bales done, 1650 or so were baled since Friday and I touched every single one atleast once.

There was still some hay in the barn from last year so there is probably around 4000 bales in the barn total.

Some of the really bad grassy stuff is gonna be chopped for bedding, the rest will be big squared by a custom guy. 2 loads are still standing but we were sick of it and dad had to get cchores going... gonna try selling those right off the wagon.

Better give your hay salesman a boost in his percentage to give him a little more incentive.

All things considered, it wasn't too bad. Mom drove yesterday until my wife brought the kids to her parents and then my wife drove for 3 loads. Truth be told she's pretty good too, been a few years since she's driven but it all came back to her.
