Got all the hay baled and wrapped--185 bales of first cut----got the corn and the soys sprayed with Roundup----a got a few odd jobs completed on the farm, so its time to hit the road! Heading to Port Huron, Michigan, then west through northern Indiana and Illinois, , then north to Duluth and back into Canada at Thunder Bay to see my first grand nephew. Then east across the upper peninsula in Michigan to Sault Ste Marie and south along the Lake Michigan coast and then back home. So, if you see an older fellow in silver Impala peering at your old tractor(s) give me a wave! Hope the rain stays away for aweek or so.

I'll wave at anyone checking out tractors. Doubt you'd be any where near me, though. Sounds like you're going up on other side of Wi, and down the far(east) side of the lake. Have fun on the trip anyway.

centash- for a road trip like that, may I suggest the Wagon Queen Family Truckster Station Wagon...

If you travel the Great River Road north in Wisconsin you will be about 3 miles form me.

Ben,
When you get across the Mackinac Bridge take highway 119 down to the town of Harbor Springs. Delightful drive in a tunnel of trees along the Lake Michigan shore and spend some time in Harbor Springs, Petoskey and Charlevoix. Absolutely beautiful area to see. Plan on a little extra time to smell the flowers and enjoy the sights. Tom

If you change your mind and decide to take the scenic drive down M66 through the middle of Michigan, give me a holler. I'm only a mile off Michigan's Scenic Route 66.
