up and down main street in nj,a great car show last night,no tractors,but lots of different stuff to see

any of you ever had a IH Pickup?

It's an L Series. Showed up in late '49 as a '50 model. Was replaced in late '52 with the R series as a '53 model. R series just had some minor cosmetic changes, grill, etc. Hard to tell the 50s, 51s, and 52s apart without VIN #. I well remember when the L came out. Seemed like everyone wanted one.

That is a very nice paint job on the L series IH pickup. They sure sold a lot here in Sask.

We had a 1950 L110; us boys about ran the wheels off that truck. Youngest brother ended up parting it out. Apparently that cab fit a lot of larger model IH trucks at the time. He found buyers for almost all of the parts, including the frame.

I have a '52 L110 that has been in pieces for at least 40 years. Hope to finish it some day.
