Anybody trying to bale hay in No. Missouri?

Small window of sunny weather this weekend in northern Mo. Has anyone dropped any hay yet to square bale or round bale? Or planning to?

I'm south of Kirksville, got everthing ready but haven't cut a round yet. Ground is so saturated, if it didn't rain again starting today, it would be at least next weekend before I would want to lay any down.

Had two good shots here around Springfield, MO down south and got the first cutting in but had to rush bailing on the first cutting and got a few heavy bales.

It will be a very small window. Its raining in NE Kansas today and its headed East so you'll be getting it on Friday - Saturday.

I heard kirksville got dumped on. Im around macon. Had 3/4" two days ago. Supposed to be sunny til monday

I cut the hay on the 3rd. Started to square bale on the 5th at noon. Baled 411 bales. Moisture meter on most bales was between 15% and 20%. Some bales that were near the woods had 30%. The bales that had the higher % I set aside and tested them on the 6th. Measured 20% or lower. Could it be the some of the dryer hay in the bales pulled the moisture from the greener hay?
