Just wondering what would be a realistic price to pay
for front steel wheels with skid-bands off an actual
Farmall Regular tractor (not from an F-20).

Sweetfeet, I have seen them bring over $1000 on Ebay. Last night a nice set with no bearings sold for $620 you just don't see them around much anymore. oldiron29

oldiron29,

Thanks for the info!

That ebay auction is exactly why I was asking about price... I watch a lot of ebay auctions (especially rusty stuff) and it surprised me that they went so high.

I guess our ol' Regular won't be getting Regular fronts any time soon.

Wow!! that price is amazing, and I had no idea the front wheels would be so high in price. I have the originals on mine. I took the turning rims off and put rubber on for parading on blacktop. I still have the rims and guess I better hold on to them. I would say and it hurts me to say it but I guess you could get more for parts than the whole running tractor is worth. Don't make sense to me.

Mt. Man,

Aww, you lucky duck!

We looked for Regular fronts for about a year and a half... then finally settled for a nice pair of rusty F-20 front steel wheels with skid bands. (And we paid a "kinda" pretty penny even for those.)

So thinking we will just be keeping that pair of F-20's and call 'er good enough.
