L 4350 Kubota split question again

I found out how and where to set the bolts for my clutch fingers. Now my throw out bearing does not seem to fit over the heads of the bolts. I have all the flat sides of the bolts facing in. Would it hurt to grind a little on the bolts so it will fit ?

That looks like a lot of bolt sticking up from the fingers, but then I have never looked at a Kubota clutch. Did you measure from the mating surfaces like I suggested yesterday?

Not exactly following the problem, "throw out bearing does not seem to fit over the heads" My thinking is the flat surface of the bearing sits on top of the heads of the bolts?

And... Are the lock nuts run down tight against the fingers? Appears the one in front is not tightened down, can't see the others.

A good way to determine the proper height of the bolts would be to install the release bearing, put a straight edge across the bell housing, measure from the bearing to the housing front surface. Then lay the straight edge across the finger bolts, measure to the engine flange, adjust the bolt length accordingly. Very important the bolts are adjusted equally!

I took the picture before I was done. Where it is set the bolts are out about a 1inch. The throw out bearing will sit 1/8 inch away from the heads of the bolts. It just does not to seem to want to set flat on the bearing. I will try to post a picture . Thanks

Here is a picture of my old throw out bearing the way it came off the flange sticking out past the bearing was what hit the head of the bolts. Do you think somebody put that in backwards? Doesn't the flat side of the bearing go up against the head of the bolts ? I cant get that flange on the bearing to go over the head of the bolts. That's why I think somebody put it in wrong.

Here is a picture of the old throw out bearing the way it was installed when it came apart. I took lots of pictures so if I forgot something I could go back and look at it.

it looks wrong to me. Every one that I have seen is completely flat across the front.

Looks like the flat side of the bearing was chewed away by the bolts when it seized. Yes, it does go flat machined side toward the bolts.

Flat side to the fingers. Are you sure those bolts are correct? I've never seen contact points on the fingers that weren't rounded over.
