I don't own horses, but if I did..........

kind of like the old days with the traveling peddlers selling home made elixirs garenteed to cure all problems in males, females and animals, 2 dollars for a bottle, which people bought out of hope and promise, most of these type bottles contained generous amounts of either corn whiskey or opium, plus any number of additives, the peddler thought might make his different from the next guys, if it didnt work you'd probably feel so mellow you didnt care , a human who can tell what a horse or any animal has going on in the back of its mind has about the same chance of success, ande being correct as the snake oil, but who can prove it

I have a horse she's a 31-year-old thoroughbred
mare I don't think she's needs that kind of service!
Lol

If you look deep into the one eye in view, you'll know exactly what's going through her mind.

It looks to me like she's thinking, "I'm hungry, here's a bowl of food, I think I'm going to eat some........"

The only good thing about a horse IMO is that when you get (pick one or more) get tired/mad at/just don't want, you can always shoot it and eat it.

We have one of those advertising on Craigslist in this area, also. The price is about the same. Seems like a lot of yuppie horsey owners are the same type of person the yuppie dog owners are. Translation: it ain't the critter that needs the shrink................(smile)

I think I have mentioned this before, but we had an old vet who was fond of saying: Horses and hired men are about the same. There's only about two out of a hundred that are any good for anything and the sooner you go through the first 98, the better off you are!

Back before there was such a thing as a "horse shrink" we had a horse auction in the Utica area on a regular basis. It was fairly common to see a horse sold at the sale and be going back through the next sale with either the owner, the horse, or both looking somewhat worse for the wear. Can remember Pop buying a nice looking Pinto. He tried to ride it once. Took a week to repair all the damage, including rebuilding Mom's clothes lines. Wonder how the guy who bought that horse at the next sale made out with him...............About the only "Physch" evaluation those horses ever got was a one way trip to the glue factory.

Thanks Billy, Iv taken of her since 1990 when she came off the track, and bought her from the farm in 1998. A long time, never rode her either! Lol

Used to be that way Rick, not anymore.
The "cruelty to animals" charge will get you as much time
as a first degree murder charge if you were to get caught.

P.S. Does not taste like chicken. LOL
