I am having trouble finding a clutch disc for a l2550d kubota i ordered on line that said was correct one when it got here the spline was two small will not fit on the shaft went to local dealer next the looked it up and said that for the model there was only one list he checked and had one we matched it up to the old one and that to was smaller i have the duel clutch and the larger pto side slides over shaft no problem so im not sure where to go from here does anyone have a ideal [/b]

Thinking I worked on that same model but had problems getting the correct fuel filter. The tractor had an old dealer sticker OMAHA TRACTOR on it. Called the dealer and asked for the oldest parts guy and he knew what I was talking about. This was the winter of 2013/14, dealer is in Omaha Nebraska. chris

(quoted from post at 09:11:29 06/11/15) Might find a rebuilder that can reline it.

I will look into that option but there should be able to match one up going to see if there is any numbers on the transmission might have been replaced don't know history of unit thank you for the reply

There are 2 different ones. Need the serial number. Part# 38260-14450, and then there is another disc part# 32425-14400. Torsion spring disc is #32420-99132 My wife is a
parts person at the local Kubota dealer, and that is what she came up with.

The14450 is for the pto disc and the number the local dealer was 14400 but on the last number you gave me i dont know the original disc does not have any springs on it my local parts dealer said he cound not look the unit bye serial number i thought that if i can it might let me if some odd thing was done to it thank again

Here's a crazy thought to try. Go to Kubota's web site and send them an email including your model and serial number and see what they come up with. I did that on an old flail mower I bought and they were most helpful and told me it was made for a faster pto then 540. That explained why it didn't cut good for me !

I have waiting reply said a high demand might be three buisness days i was hoping someone might have a simple solution my my problem i thank you for all your help

Maybe I didn't word it right ? I'm glad you are already trying Kubota to see what or if they reply. That's why I thought it might be a crazy idea to try anyhow just to see if they are even helpful. Many times as companies grow customer service shrinks. This will surely be a good test for them !
There is a Kubota dealer post on here a lot so far I don't see him. JN or JM ??? I would think he could help too if he sees this.

DP Go to Kubota.com select parts illustrations, sign the agreement , search L2550, click clutch. You will see there is a standard clutch and a sever duty clutch. If you need the larger splines you need the sever duty clutch. Do not know what parts man told you there was only one but he is wrong. Take a look and you will figure it out.
