Parts from Canada to the US

I would like to get some parts from a dealer in Canada. They would cross the border at Toronto-Buffalo. Can anyone give me any help on the border crossing problems regarding brokers, paperwork required, fees, etc. Does one need to go through a broker for 150 pounds of parts? At this point the most logical plan seems to get them to a Fastenal store in the greater Buffalo area and they can do the transporting to my local store in IL. Unless someone can bring them all the way? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you considered using UPS or Fed-Ex 3 day servce, they look after all the brokerage and related costs, tho could be pricey. Being farm equipment parts new or used there might not be any duty or very little.
I live in the Fort Erie - Buffalo area and cross that border regularly, might be able to help you.

I have send many used parts to the US,..i just packaged it and took it the the post office and paid whatever their charge was and that was all there was to it.
