He probably took the job working for the BTO, that he asked about, and everyone told him to take. He is likely tuckered out from the long hrs.

Yeah, if he is like my kids were growing up, the gas gauge only registered one letter......E. Seems if it were higher than that they'd figure out a way to get it back to E.

Had one boy that registered about 5k miles in one week or month, don't remember and don't feel like doing the math. His first truck and I cosigned for him. He was supposed to be working at a burger joint. I sat him down and calculated the hours it would take for him to acquire that kind of mileage in that short a period and said that with the time he spent at home eating and sleeping, he didn't have time to be working. No answer!

Funny, my dad had that figured out. He never let me have the car unless it was under 1/4th of a tank and I had to bring it back full on my dime. That's not saying I didn't put some miles on it but it was take the car, fill it up and then fill it again before heading home. We won't talk about what he found in the back of the car a few times!

Nope, that didn't go through. Too far away, too many hours, mom wasn't really on board with it yet, and I already have 2 really good jobs that pay well here at home. So, for now, I am staying in the nest!

Man I wish! Took her out on the jet skis Saturday, that was REALLY fun! Then I saw her for just a few minutes yesterday, maybe going to see her just for a quick kiss when I run into town tomorrow....

Jet skiing was her Birthday present! She was jazzed about that! THEN she got a beautiful set of earings/necklace/bracelet at dinner that night, I think that pert near killed her! Mission accomplished.......
