Saw your post on stonewalls. Whatever happened to the Gallupville Gasup? Used to go the show all the time and loved it and the location. Last I knew something happened in the family that owned the land? Our kids used to swim and jump off the bridge at the show. One time I went with one of the boys and we stopped and hiked Vromans Nose, great view. We miss it.

I have not been to that one in 11 years now, but go up that way fairly often, visit a friend and or family gatherings. I bought an engine off a guy who owns all that bottom land near that landmark nose looking outcrop or mountain, nice ground there, well til it floods and that one barn is up to the skirts on top of the poles !

The Gas-Up is still alive and well. June 13-14 and 20-21 this year.
Just off Rt. 443 west of Gallupville, NY.

I expect to drop in at least the first weekend.

As loantaka says, it's still going strong.
I went one day last year for the first time in many years.
I love the homemade ice cream which is made using an old hit and miss engine.
Another nice place to visit is the tractor show in Sharon Springs which always coincides with one of the "Gassup" weekends.
