3288 International

Does anyone know a lot about the International 3288 and would they recommend this tractor for a small hay baling operation? I do some square and some small round bales?

You will have to hook it to a baler of your choice to make the bales you inquired aboot.

If you pull a flat rack behind the baler with someone stacking, a tractor with a cab does not work well. To hard to see and hear what the guy on the rack needs. So I would not recommend.

3288 has a NUESS D-358 diesel engine, about as fuel stingy 90 HP tractor engine made. The trans is similar
to what the 86-series had with some improvements. It would do fine on either a small square baler or small
to medium sized round baler. IH only made 1162 of them, it will escalate in value.
