ZETOR 7745 with loader value??

After totally getting number and even name of tractor wrong, let me ask again. I have a chance to buy cousin ZETOR 7745 fwa diesel tractor with loader. Not used as tillage just mowing and dirt maintenance for fellow owing a lot of land which is rented to others. Get me an idea of actual value and watch to look for.The tractor is 24-25 years old. paint and general appearance is good , front tires wore, however rears would out last me. Thanks Bill
 
Well they are clumsy and not worth much on the market. The controls are totally different than any US built tractor so make sure and get/read the operators manual before you run it much. Dealership support can be spotty. So make sure you have one that you can work with.

The good points are: They are fuel efficient and are pretty rugged as long as you run them correctly. Meaning they have levelers that you can set the PTO and hydraulics to different setting for different uses. If you run them set wrong you can cause harm.

As for value your looking at $7500-10,000 IF it is in really good shape. Lower if abused any.
 
Thank you he will sell to me for just what his ACTUAL cash value is if he trades it in. He Had a car lot in the past and realizes trade price can be high as if off full list and actual if no trade price.I need to check with my tax man to determine if I can write off the actual value in savings over the years.
