Versatile 800

I found a versatile 800. has around 9,000 hours. Tires are 40% and it's been shedded for most of it's life. Motor is very oil leak free. Wondering what price this rig is worth and what problems should I look out for. It's a non 3 point and has no PTO. Would be used for deep tillage and not much else. Located in central North Dakota.

Is it a Series One or Series Two? Either way they aren't worth much anymore. Series Ones can be had for $5,000 or less. Series Twos maybe a little bit more.

My brother had an 800; it was a good tractor. More HP than his Case 2490, but used less fuel. After he retired, our nephew bought it and sold his newer JD 4WD that was constantly breaking down. He's still running the 800. It has Cummins Turbo engine.

First link is to a 800 Series 1. Pay no attention to the price. They are tractor jocks among many other things and think their stuff is made out of gold. I've seen tractors sell at auctions around here that show up on their lot for double the price it brought at the auction. Second link is for a Series 2.
Series 1

Series 2

It"s a series 1. Found out tonight it has 10,000 hours total with 4000 hours since a engine overhaul. Does have a few leaks on the front axle and steering hydro cylinders.

The original series is pretty plain and all RED. Series II and beyond have the black stripes/decals, etc.! And then, there's the "candystripers"!
