We had flurries here in n/w WI this morning. Predicted low of 29 tomorrow morning. My corn isn't planted yet either - too wet here, too. Haven't been able to do any planting since the 5th.

I remember one year, we had a really light winter!! Spring came around and we had very little rain. Woke up on the morning of my B-Day, and there was about 1/2 an inch of snow on the ground!!!

Anyone want to guess my B-Day???

Thats right, June 10th!!!!

Temps are still in the mid 40's this afternoon here in west Michigan, not to mention the wind that's been blowing for days...
If the overcast skies clear tonight, I see frost in the low lying fields.

We had a couple of inches of snow here a few days ago. Been raining some every day since. There was an inch in the gauge this morning and I think probably another half inch missed going in because it was coming down sideways. Weather guy says we are supposed to get some snow too. Water has been coming down fairly gentle so most of it is soaking in.

I happened here in May of '83 up in the mountains, higher elevations, hard to believe at the time, as you thought you were well out of that weather. Disappears quick, so that helps. Looks like Allan in NE has gotten a ton of extra moisture, saw another system on the map heading that way this morning, so maybe some of the drier areas have gotten some relief? Sure is dry here lately, just got a bit of a soaker, maybe my newly planted lawn will germinate.

My dad talked about the year it snowed all 12 months of the year --Dont remember what year he said that happened -- Roy

We've had flurries here at higher elevations July 4th. My grandfather remembered one year with frost every month(it was called the year without a summer don't know what year). One year my garden froze August 21st. By the way Killington Vt Ski Area is still open
